Another piece of good news came through last evening, Deadly Embrace, the story that involves the Ponca legend of Deer Woman, was one of the top 5 finalists (receiving the highest score) for the Heartland RWA Chapter’s (Missouri) “Ahh! Romance” contest.  That’s 2 finalist placings for 2 separate books (Deadly Embrace and Delicious) in one week!! 

As many of you know, the Deer Woman story is one that is very close to me and is a read that will make you keep the lights on and your doors locked at night.
