Where in the hell did summer go?  Well, actually, the question should probably be — where in the hell WAS summer?  It sure didn’t show up around here!  We had about 3 or 4 days that reached the 90-degree mark but that was it — low 80s and high 70s.  That’s not an Indiana summer, that’s just a feeble attempt. 

There was frost of the car windows this a.m., the temperature dropped to the mid 40s last night and friends who live out west are talking about getting some snow already.  I don’t want cold temperatures, I don’t want frost and I definitely don’t want snow.  I WANT SUMMER!!!  Yeah I know — tough luck — it ain’t gonna happen this year.  Okay, I’ll stop whining now.
