Judie Aitken has managed to bring the reader into the heart and soul of a strong, sensitive cowboy. Cody is a hero, caring for his 'family' and little sister on his ranch while struggling to keep the enterprise afloat. I loved Ms. Aitken's first book, A Love Beyond Time. This book (A Place Called Home), while quite different, also possesses a heart that captivates the reader. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a nice, satisfying read!
